Hello?

Hi guys, thought id kick things off in here. Whats some peoples worst dating experiences? Any horror stories around here? ;D

One I went on, we went out to dinner and a movie (typical I know.) The bad thing is we didn’t get past the dinner! I felt like I was in an interview the whole time. She asked me what my job was, where I lived, what car I drove, if I owned my own house! To top it all off, she the asked how much I made!!!

It was horrible. So I cut the dinner short and just went home.

So, thats my (embarrassing) :-[ story. How bout some of yours?

I have had Worse!
This is the story "Johnny" seemed like a nice guy. Good looking etc he then asks me to dinner. I get to his place and have to get through 15 minutes of the really awkward inane conversation. So I’m starting to regret agreeing to go to dinner. So we get there and he orders so much alcohol (I’m thinking chill out!) So he’s already wasted before the food gets there, and he tells me that he just got out of a 3–year full on relationship, and then bangs on about how much she had hurt him etc So I’m just like seriously I can not handle having dinner with this twat. Then the
Worst thing in the world happen he pulls one if the hairs out of my head, and he starts flossing his teeth with it at the table! OMG I was absolutely mortified the people sitting around us were laughing. I could feel my face getting redder and redder. Then he stands up to go to the toilet and on the way he falls over and knocks the drinks of the waiter’s tray! So I’m like right we are leaving I pay the whole check didn’t even get to eat my meal! Try to get home and he is just being sick everywhere! worst date in the whole world!

So, here's mine (my active dating years seem so far behind!): My senior year of college, I was set up on a "blind date" with a friend of mine -- great looking guy, total sweetheart, and someone I'd always adored. To me (and to him), it was such a natural and yet surprising situation -- "of course, how could I have failed to see what was right in front of me?" The night was fantastic and ended in the throes of passion potential. We made a plan to attend a school formal that same weekend, and were so thrilled by the surprising shift in our relationship status that we made plans to have lunch away from campus the next day. So... He comes to pick me up and we drive to this slightly dumpy Italian restaurant -- I'm trying to think the best, shifting dumpy to "charming and rustic" in my mind. We're the ONLY two people being served. So, my friend says, "Hey, I have a coupon for this place." Then he proceeds to say that, in fact, he has TWO coupons, and that we can redeem them both (they were for a free lunch entree) IF WE DON'T SIT AT THE SAME TABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!! I proceed to demur: "No, we have to sit together -- we're on a date! Don't worry, I'll pay." He tries to convince me to stick with his plan ("After all, we're the only two in here, and we can sit at adjoining tables."), but eventually resolves his inner dilemma by letting me pick up the check. I was mortified and totally turned off. Too bad, too, because he was and I expect still is, lovely. For me, nothing kills the glow quicker than obnoxious cheapness.

Worst date ever huh?

Well INTERNET first date.. I think the whole meeting a person whom could be a murder is pretty scary but this guy put me off the whole thing lol .. Started out rocky with no talking then we decide to drive an hour to watch the movies (in his no air con car, this hour was spent him talking about himself and government! The movie wasn’t when we got there so he took me to a rsl club where I sat watched him gamble for 2hrs, I got him away from the horses then we went and watched the movie, we drove back home an had dinner (At this time I wanted to run) . He then wanted to go out for drinks so I felt I should seeing he was new to town.. As the hours went by the drunker he got and I knew he hadn’t drunk much in the past! He commented on the women how good looking they were as the night pasted on I had even stopped drinking, the women bartender flirted with him all night as he sat glassed eyed smiling at her as well, every time I said I wanted to go he pled for me to stay!! So… I still stayed as by 2am I knew he couldn’t walk back to his motel room without help, I felt more sorry for him then hated that I was his babysitter. By the end of the night helped him back to the motel room, where he asked me to stay and I will just say that was the worst “shag I’ve ever had” (long story why I even done that)  so that’s my worst an first date!!!! Never again..

Oh my goodness, I’ve had some really horrible dates. One time I took a girl out to dinner and all she did was send text messages to her friends on her cell phone the entire time! She wanted to order a bottle of wine and all these extra things to drive the bill up, and when the check came she didn’t even offer to split it. She also didn’t thank me or anything. I hate it when women just expect you to pick up the tab for everything. I’m pretty traditional and like to do that anyway, but it just seems like they could at least offer to split the bill.
