Will it Last if You Get Back Together?

My friend just kicked her mate out a few days ago, but now they are back together. I have rarely seen things work out long term when people have broken up and then gotten back together. Do you know of cases where people have stayed together forever after being apart for awhile?

I guess it is possible, especially if two people were really young the first time they got together. I have heard of a lot of couples dating through high school or college, and then breaking up for a few years and reconciling in their adulthood. Most of those cases end in marriage. As far as the on-again off-again people, that tends to work for a while, but they usually don’t end up being “on-again” permanently. Anything is possible though. Maybe your friends have grown a lot or changed since their breakup, who knows. Just let the situation play out and see what happens.
