HELP! confused about an ex!

about 4 years ago i broke up with my ex ... how ever i've never felt closure about ending it with my ex because it was a pretty messy break up and there were a lot of things unsaid between us... i feel that we are both mature enough to handle the truth and i feel i owe him an explanation and there are still questions that i feel i need to ask him to move on completely...

i'd love opinions from anybody on what they think and whether i should get in contact with him or not... ???

if you do feel that you (on your part) that you need closure, then go contact him, because if it really bothers you, youll still be thinking about it every time, better to get it over and done with. but if you can live your life on not knowing the consequence of not contacting him, then fine, just keep communications closed. i say, follow what you fell is right, just trust yourself on this. you know yourself better than anyone of us here. but i guess you do need closure, as you wont even be asking us right now on what to do, even after 4 years. well anyway, good luck on what you decide on. itll turn out for the better.

I think you should contact him. You said that there are still a lot of questions on your mind? If you won't talk it out with him, you will really have a hard time moving on.

Four years is a long time. Do you know what's happening in his life? For instance, if he has gotten married? If he has moved on, you need to leave him alone. If you find out that he is still single and available, then I guess it would be okay to contact him.

two years ago i had a break up with my girlfriend , i really love loved her but she used to talk with other guys and thats what i hated , so i just left her but now still i love her but she loves some one else.
