How much alcohol is *too much*??

Situation: first date. Everyone has nerves. A couple of drinks should relieve that, but how much is too much?

I think maybe one or two before dinner, with dinner, after dinner – just enough to keep the nerves at bay… ;)

hmmm... it depends how much alco you can hold i guess... but i'd say maybe 1 or 2 during dinner... if you're going on a first date i'm sure you'd like to remember it! haha! :P

That's a hard one, cus it also depends on the situation.

If your first date is at a party or something and there are other friends around, then drinking up is probably expected.

But if your first date is one-on-one, dining out situation, then that's different. Chics notice stuff like how much you drink, if you smoke, it all goes down in their little black book. You know how it is!

Hmm... I wouldn't be too worried if i went out with a guy who had a few drinks, if it was the right occasion.

But if he got sloshed, that'd be another issue.

What about chics? Cus I have a friend (haha, not the same one as in the other post ;) ) and she just can't control how much she drinks, then she gets a bit touchy feely when she's drunk - that'd be a bit full on for a first date!

I think one to three drinks on a first date is just right. If you really like your date, and you think you can not handle it, you can have a drink to help you increase your self confidence. :)
